Death From above

The Fifth in a Series of images done for a Role playing game scenario for the "Escapism Foundry".

None of which properly digital as they were pencil sketched and then inked on greaseproof before being mutilated by a photocopier so that they could be scanned and shaded on PC, As they were to end up Greyscale, I decided to start them off in Greyscale, I also decided to break the laws of perspective in an attempt to may it look more old fashioned, and appropriate for the era/setting it portrays.

Throwing dead and diseased bodies into a besieged town was a nice, if highly unpleasant way to hit two birds with one stone, as far as siege tactics go, Demoralise your enemy, and hopefully get them diseased as well.
So in a fantasy setting why not take it a step further…. Add a couple of bottles of an alchemical raise dead solution, that are designed to break on impact and you achieve all the above results and swarm the place with zombies as well.
